I’m generally not into these types of images but when considering it took 30hrs of shooting for Chris Kotsiopoloulos to create this panorama, you really got to appreciate the lengths some guys will go to in order to get their shots in…

The recent “Pin Up” auction hosted by Cornette de Saint Cyr at the Crazy Horse cabaret netted a healthy price for this Francis Giacobetti photograph entitled ‘Lignes 17’ which along with work by the likes of Alain Aslan and Milo Manarfetched a total of $294,000… Surprisingly works by Newton and LaChapelle did not find buyers.

During her final photoshoot before her death, Bert Stern created some stunning photographs of Marilyn Monroe. However, the photos that Marilyn didn’t like, she smeared her red lipstick over the negative images to deter them from being published. After her death, Stern developed those photos
